THALLON is an organic, monovarietal extra virgin olive oil of early harvest and high quality from Chondrolia of Halkidiki. It has a health claim (high content of phenolic components), with a rich aromatic profile and low acidity <0.3%.
Thallon was created for those who want to combine gastronomy with healthy living.It has a high content in two of the main phenols, Oleocanthal & Oleacin, which have significant biological activity and according to scientific studies, have been attributed anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, cardioprotective and neuroprotective properties. A slightly bitter aftertaste and a mild burning sensation in the throat that you may feel are due to its high content of these beneficial components.

Meet the Producer
Dimitris and Andreas Tsikouris were born and raised in Ormylia, Halkidiki, in an area where olive cultivation has been a tradition since ancient the times. Since a young age they carried the love and respect for the blessed olive tree. They lived closely the cultivation, the harvest, the milling and they learned to appreciate the olive oil, which is valuable so for health. Childhood memories over time were transformed into an experience, which in combination with their vision to produce their own extra virgin olive oil, gave birth to THALLON, a natural product rich in phenolic ingredients and with extremely low acidity, derived from unripe olives, in an unheated way and with the most modern and certified mechanical methods of milling.
