Extra virgin olive oil is the highest quality category of olive oil that one can consume. By definition it must have free fatty acid level below 0,8%, zero organoleptic defects and a fruity flavor. For better quality, it must be derived by cold extraction in temperature below 27oC.

Our Manaki, a local cultivar with a “courteous” personality, has produced a unique Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
ACIDITY: 0,19
Acidity is one of the quality parameters set by IOC for extra virgin olive oil. By definition EVOO it must have free fatty acid level below 0,8%. This value is always determined by a chemical laboratory and cannot be detected by sensory analysis (you cannot taste it).
AROMAS:Fruity
 It’s fruity and delicate. Tasting notes – freshly cut grass. Red fruits and almonds aftertaste. 
HARVEST: Fall 2022
As any fresh and very sensitive to oxidation product, olive oil must be consumed within 18 months from the harvest time, for enjoying all its aromas, flavors and health benefits. In the Northern Hemisphere where Greece is, the harvest is taking place from October to January.

Meet the Producer

Our olive groves are located near the seaside town of Ermioni in Peloponnese. Ootopia means olive oil topos ( place )

 We have planted Greek and other selected Mediterranean varieties because our vision is to be an Olive Oil Estate, similar to a Wine Estate. Our aim is to have a range of olive oils which will pair with different dishes.

  In 2022, our EVOO have received 20 gold awards, participating in 7 international competitions, including Japan JOOP, New York NYIOOC, London IOOC. We have also received a design award for our packaging, at Japan JOOP. In 2023, the international awards continued with 23 gold awards in eight international competitions. 

 In 2023 we were selectected by Olio Nuovo Day in Paris, and together with other top olive oils in the world we participated in the tasting and training of 70 chefs in Saint Tropez. 

All our plots are organically cultivated and we work to minimize our carbon footprint. Our Premium olive oils come in glass bottles of 250ml and 500ml.
