The Museum of Natural History of Meteora and Museum of Mushrooms was founded in 2014 in Kalambaka. As part of its objectives to promote the nutritional value of mushrooms and their integration into our daily diet, a range of mushroom and truffle products was created, which now includes approximately 70 codes. The Museum stamp on the products, apart from being perhaps a worldwide innovation, guarantess their quality. With the aim to ensure the maximum possible nutritional and biological value (ingredients, method of preparation, organoleptic characteristics) for the products, the Museum collaborated with the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of the University of Thessaly.
