VOL is the acronym for our company name, VIS OLIVAE. The Latin word Vis means power, strength, as in the philosophical term vis vitalis which means vital force. The word olivae, is the singular form of the Latin word oliva, the olive. The essence of our product is fully expressed by this linguistic root – hence the acronym VOL. A concept passing through language and the human mind over centuries, to match a desirable product, sought after, pleasurable to use, which awakens the senses and gives wellness and energy.
